Abstract :
The paper presents the study concerning the properties of the time series representing the distribution of the daily mean of PM10 pollution. Applying the chosen signal analysis methods we investigate different aspects of the process of formation of the PM10 pollution, including the dependencies between the pollution and environmental parameters (wind, temperature, humidity, etc), correlations between different atmospheric variables, nonlinearity of the process, etc. The results of this study are important in modeling the dynamics of the pollution creation.
