Abstract :
Photovoltaic array cost occupies more than 65% in whole solar system cost. MPPT installed inside power conditioner performs important role to maintain power generation capacity high. This paper analyzed and grasp how the power conditioner tracks the optimum point of I–V curve on dynamic condition of PV power system. On dynamic I–V curve characteristics, hysteresises in a clockwise direction were observed from 0.6kW/m2 to 1 kW/m2. If these variation and hysteresis could be controlled, power conditioner is expected to track dynamic power point precisely and this contribute to improve system efficiency.
