Abstract :
A 10MHz switching frequency integrated single-inductor dual-output buck converter with time-multiplexing (TM) control in discontinuous conduction mode (DCM) is proposed. This converter only uses one 0.5uH off-chip inductor and one error amplifier to provide two independent supply voltages (1.2V and 1.8V). Simulation results prove the converter is high efficient and stable. The converter was fabricated using SMIC 65nm digital CMOS process. The output voltages are 1.8V/20mA and 1.2V/30mA, respectively. The peak power efficiency reaches 85.5%.
