Abstract :
Error-free 160 (16λ × 10) Gbit/s optical packet switching and 100-km-transmission with IP-packet-loss-rate ≪10-8 and bit-error-rate ≪10-9 is demonstrated by transient-response-suppressed EDFAs, multiple label-processor of ultra-fast processor (≪100 ps), burst-mode packet transmitter/receiver, and IP/optical-packet converters.
