Abstract :
An all-optical 1times2 switching scheme using asymmetric control light of SOA-MZI for label-payload separation is proposed. Fast four-bit time domain label at 40 Gb/s was separated experimentally. A slow gain recovery effect was found and a simulation revealed the effective way to reduce it.
