Abstract
This talk starts with review of memristor and memristive systems and discusses how they can change the traditional circuit paradigm based on resistor, capacitor, and inductor. In 1971 memristor was postulated by Leon Chua through analysis of functional relationship between charge and flux, d=Mdq. In 1976, Chua and Kang introduced fundamental properties of the memristive devices and systems as a superclass of memristors and showed that many physical systems can be categorized as memristive devices and systems.
