Abstract :
Currently available cell phone key pad is not scientific in case of user friendliness and at times it is very difficult to use. New approach to enhance cell phone keypad is made using the layout of pc based "qwerty" keyboard. Since it is not also a feasible solution this paper will suggest a key board for cell phone and other cellular device based on the frequency of the alphabets in English language and also with the view of structure of human finger movements to provide a flexible and fast typing cell phone keypad layout.
