Abstract
The authors describe changes of surface resistivity ρs of epoxy compositions under different conditions, such as the presence of SF6 by-products or of air at high and low humidity. Four kinds of alumina fillers were used in the compositions investigated. The main parameters of the fillers and the electric strength and electric surface strength of the compositions are given. For all compositions the change of ρs as a function of time was measured. The results confirmed that surface resistivity measurement is a good indicator of changes on the surface of epoxy compositions
