In a highly competitive and environment, rapidly upgrading producing environment, innovation is the key for small and medium-sized enterprises to keeping competitive advantage and sustainable development. More and more small and medium-sized enterprises recognize that the resources and capacity of a single enterprise are insufficient to meet the requirements of innovation. The enterprises need integrate internal and external resources to gain a competitive advantage and increase their ability to innovate through multiple cooperation and relational network. Therefore, it has a great theoretical and practical significance from the perspective of social capital to research enterprise independent innovation. This paper analyzed the relationship between the social capital and independent innovation of enterprises, and made corresponding solutions that improved enterprise business how to promote corporate social capital, knowledge acquisition and ability to absorb knowledge, to improve the ability of independent innovation of enterprises.
