Abstract :
It is important for nuclear power plant safety that the passive safety system can operate in seismic condition reliably. And in the seismic situation, the probability of component failure is conditional probability of peak ground acceleration which is stochastic, and the traditional system reliability analysis means in probability safety assessment (PSA) is fault tree (FT) method, which is not power enough to deal with conditional probability. Base on Monte Carlo (MC) simulation, an analysis frame for system reliability evaluation in seismic condition is put forward in this paper, and reliability of passive residual heat removal system of AP1000 is calculated, the result of 1.6E-4 is get for the annual system failure probability, and the contribution of the IRWST to system failure is the largest one, which is in accordance with the AP1000 seismic hazard analysis.
