Abstract :
In China, the circulation of fruits and vegetables is facing two big challenges including low marketing-oriented trade and high cost of transportation. It is very important to organize the efficient circulation system of fruits and vegetables such that to win the value addition. In this paper, the management model of fruit and vegetable supply chain is proposed to center on “Third-Party Logistics Enterprise” after learning from the theory of third-party logistics and supply chain management, and combining with three dominant models of the fruit and vegetable supply chain management. This new model has great benefits to take full advantages of cost, integration, coordination and information of Third-Party Logistics Enterprise as the core enterprise. It will help fruit and vegetable industry grow rapidly.
