Abstract :
The water quantity is unbalanced during the scheduling period within consideration of the flow routing time in cascade reservoirs, which brings difficulties in conceiving cascade reservoirs´ short term optimal strategy jointly. A model for seeking optimization operation of cascade reservoirs is established based on the water balance equation and with concerning of adding a lag-time term for evaluating the benefit generated outside of the scheduling period because of flow delay in the research. And the combinational Progressive Optimality Algorithm(POA) of a consecutive iterations on reservoirs method is proposed for solving the established model which doesn´t possess Markov Property. Finally, a study case within the background of Qingjiang Cascade Reservoirs is applied for validating the model , The result shows that it´s reasonable and applicable. The model is representative for seeking cascade reservoirs´ optimal operation scheme within concerning of water flow delay.
