Abstract
A full diagnosis of a 600MW boiler, against the series of problems of high exhausting flue gas temperature, inadequate unit capacity, high auxiliary power consumption and so on, is conducted. These problems has accompanied with the boiler for a long time since the commissioning. It turns out that the huge amount of Primary Air need causing by insufficiency of the mill output is the key point of all these problems. After the operation mode of the mill is optimized, the key parameters such as the exhausting flue gas temperature, the amount and pressure of the Primary Air, have dropped significantly. The boiler efficiency increased 1.6%,the power consumption of the auxiliary decreased 0.42% and the NOX emission reduced 30%, an well effect is achieved. No doubt, it will have a certain reference value in solving such problems.
