Abstract
We describe an iterative technique to solve a synthesis problem concerning antenna arrays. The problem consists of determining a set of array excitations such that the corresponding far-field pattern belongs to a prescribed mask, while the electric field is zero in prescribed points located in the near-field zone. Some numerical results are illustrated.
