Abstract
In this paper, a design and measurements of a high resolution analog-to-digital converter (ADC) will be presented. The implemented SigmaDelta-ADC is combined with a low-noise buffer which enables the use of a single-ended input signal with maximum value of twice the nominal supply. The designed system was measured to achieve input referred noise voltage density of 220 nV/radic(Hz) and a bandwidth up to 1 kHz. The presented system will be applied for digitizing the output of a continuous-time accelerometer.
