Abstract
We present a surface-wave assisted printed antenna using a 3/4 λ long driver dipole in order to achieve gain higher than other antennas of this type. A double feeding-gap feeding method was used to reduce the antenna´s impedance for more convenient impedance matching. Measurement of input return loss reveals a 49% bandwidth. Maximum gain was measured to be 9.5 dB.
