  • Abstract
    We propose and demonstrate experimentally a novel bidirectional add/drop module by using two waveguide grating routers and fiber gratings. The results conform its feasibility for the development of single fiber bidirectional self-healing wavelength-division multiplexed (WDM) ring networks.
