Abstract :
The envelope method for QRS-detection is discussed. Based on the principle of the Hilbert transformation of ECG (electrocardiogram) signals, a pair of orthogonal filters is used to eliminate the noise interference and approximately finish the orthogonal transformation. The algorithm for the ECG envelope can be executed on a 8-bit microprocessor in real time.<>
