Research and implementation of location-based camera system on Samsung Bada smart phone platform

Location-based service (LBS) is value-added service, which can provide the user corresponding service by obtaining the location information of the user´s mobile terminal, with the help of mobile telecom operators´ radio communication network or external positioning method. In this paper, we design and implement a Location-based camera system (LBCS) on Samsung Bada smart phone platform. LBCS can indicate the accurate position of photos taken and show photos on map as well as other information of them. Moreover, this system provides the description function that gives users a platform to add text to the photo. When combined with server, this system let users to send photos to server, which will promote the development of social networking service (SNS). LBCS is welcome with comfortable user interface, fast corresponding speed and excellent user experience.
