Abstract :
Multibrid wind power generation system (MWPGS) has aroused more and more attention for its high energy conversion efficiency, high reliability, and flexible grid-connected power control. In order to capture maximum power from wind during wind speeds below-rated and enhance its security and reliability during wind speeds above-rated, a unified control strategy for MWPGS´s generator-side converter is developed, which incorporates speed control, the improved hill-climb searching (HCS) control with a fuzzy logic controller(FLC) and pitch control. Simulation of control performance for MWPGS´s generator-side converter is carried out in Matlab/Simulink, and the results verify the correctness and feasibility of the unified control strategy proposed in this paper.
