Abstract
The performance of all-optically gain-clamped, gain-flattened erbium-doped fiber amplifiers (EDFAs) is investigated with the circulating loop experiment. The flat and stable gain is maintained regardless of the number of wavelength channels in the chain of 40 gain-clamped EDFAs.
