  • Abstract
    Power Quality is important for industrial and commercial customers. Many power supply companies made an effort to improve power quality. The Power Quality Monitor System (PQMS) is designed and implemented to find out power quality problems, further, to improve power quality. PQMS includes data collection, data processing and data analysis. First, PQMS collects the original data including event data, trend data, and steady state data by monitor devices. The monitor devices transfer above data to server by PQDIF. The following is data processing. PQMS finds out voltage sag events and identifies the causation. The steady state indices are calculated on timing, and then the grade of power quality is evaluated by the indices. Finally, the system displays power quality status based on web and GIS, including map navigation, sag analysis, harmonic analysis, steady state analysis and grade evaluation.
