Abstract :
The T-matrix of arbitrary shaped conducting cylinders is obtained in case of TM wave polarization. The electric field integral equation (EFIE) is solved by the method of moments (MoM), in which different orders of first-kind Bessel functions are used as incident waves one by one and radiation of surface discrete currents, resulted from MoM, is aggregated in a main coordinates system by employing the addition theorem of cylindrical harmonics. An explicit relationship between the impedance matrix in MoM and T-matrix of the cylinder is derived and verified by several calculation results
