Abstract :
This paper presents a time-stepping finite element simulation of a synchronous machine feeding a fully controlled three-phase rectifier. The simulation provided the current and voltage waveforms which allowed the analysis of harmonics. In order to validate the numerical method the simulation results were compared to those obtained by tests
