Abstract :
An online field-weakening control strategy, which optimises performance independent of the motor parameters, is proposed for permanent magnet brushless AC motor drives. It facilitates maximum efficiency over the entire speed range, from constant torque to constant power operation, and is able to maximise the power capability in the field-weakening operating range
