Abstract
As often declared by customers, wearing glasses is a clear limiting factor for 3D adoption in the home. Auto-stereoscopic systems bring an interesting answer to this issue. These systems are evolving very fast providing improved picture quality. Nevertheless, they are numerous solutions that require adapted processing with high demanding computation power. The system we describe here is able to generate multi-view content adapted to different display structures. A GPU-based solution is proposed that ensures real-time performances. A dedicated work has also been done to understand the best way to optimize the sub-pixel rendering of each of each multi-view display. The challenge was to ensure that the global processing chain remains the same for each display.
