Abstract :
The Human Machine Interface of engine monitoring system will be embedded in PC, the engine´s running parameters could be acquisition, display and online adjustment in a real time by the serial communication. In this paper, an electronically controlled engine monitoring system has been designed by VB6.0, using the MSComm ActiveX of VB6.0 to achieve serial communication between PC and single-chip computer in the windows environment. Through the judgment of the flag, achieved the visual PC´s parameters are corresponding to the single-chip computer´s. Experiments show that the system can better improve the efficiency of the engine parameters matching, obtaining the best control parameter values of different engine operating conditions.
