ZigBee controls the household appliances

The control and limitation of the energy demand is crucial nowadays. The traditional ripple control system can switch only the robust heating equipments. A local intelligence must be developed for the voluntary and tough rescheduling of the Autonomous Flexible Intelligent Load, as the washing machine, drier, refrigerator, etc. The ZigBee technology is an easy use, cheap wireless solution. In the laboratory of Budapest Tech we built a test system for the realisation of different household appliance control strategies.
