Abstract :
Discrete self-similar (polyadic Cantor) distributions of radiating elements allow the design of low side-lobe arrays. However, for achieving typical Tx-band geostastionary satellite requirements, we show here that such lacunar arrays may present a great number of elements compared to other types of aperiodic distributions deduced from genetic algorithms
