Abstract
An effective and practical two-stage technique for computer simulations of PWM DC/DC converters has been developed on the basis of a discrete time model, which allows both a simple and deep investigation of the circuits´ dynamics and a fast and accurate ripple recovery. It is particularly useful in order to meet the designers´ requirements especially in the earlier stages of the design, when besides the relevant features of the circuits, details are needed about waveforms and incoming harmonics.
