Abstract
For the effective recognition of high order QAM signals which have ample constellation, here is a kind of recognition algorithm which adopts layered thought combining with high order cumulant. Using weighting method of power to make the high order QAM signals composed of several low order modulation signals. Adjudging received signals layer by layer owing to layered modulation thought, information of other layer are regarded as interference. To the low order modulation of every layer, here adopts tradition cumulant method to identify. This algorithm is different from the traditional layered recognition technique and turns to have improved the identification efficiency. The entire square QAM signals whose order numbers are smaller than 1024 can be distinguished out when SNR is 30 dB.
