Abstract :
A novel realization of coupled-resonator-induced transparency is obtained in 3×3 coupler based dual microring resonators. The normalized intensity transmissions are discussed under different conditions using the transfer matrix model. Moreover, we adopt the finite-difference-time-domain method to numerically simulate the intensity transmissions. Simulations are found in agreement with the results obtained by using the transfer matrix model.
