Abstract :
We present here a new slot array element, consisting of a single radiating slot and a short truncated waveguide above. This solution allows us to increase the slot radiation admittance with essentially the same size and realization complexity. A specialized method of moments code has been devised and assessed to effectively analyze such an antenna.
