Abstract :
In order to implement the quick discovery of metadata information on the grid system and to improve the utilization ratio of the resource as well as handle up the rate of the system, a novel metadata information discovery mechanism based on grid has been designed and implemented after the study on the grid. Firstly, VOMS (virtual organization metadata system) mode has been proposed, which adopts an VO and semantic method to control the metadata system. Secondly, VOMS can obtain the consistent concept of query, reduce the inquiry scope, and realize the extensive request of query based on intelligent inference with the use of concept connection, which can not only enhance precision and recall in inquiring process, but also improve the efficiency of access while ensuring the access quality consequently. Finally, the result of the experiment indicates that metadata information discovery mechanism can improve the utilization ratio of distributed grid resources.
