As one of the four basic skills in English teaching and English learning, listening comprehension is of great importance, but it is also difficult for Chinese students. The improvement of listening comprehension can not only do good to the other three basic skills of speaking, reading and writing, but also lay a good foundation for the development of Chinese students´ English communication skills. So how to improve college students´ English listening comprehension is an urgent problem we face at present, which needs to be solved immediately. According to experiences accumulated in the process of teaching and students´ reaction, this problem is illustrated in this paper from three points of view of correcting students´ pronunciation, increasing the proportion of listening class and combining the multi-media listening teaching and traditional listening teaching.
