Abstract :
An efficient topology analysis algorithm for power network simulation modeling was proposed. In this method, ldquoLink-Linerdquo was introduced into the graphic element library to connect two elements directly and avoiding forming the complex linked list. Correspondingly, a Link-Line based original topology description method is proposed, in this way, we can use the ldquonodes integrationrdquo algorithm more conveniently, simply including two steps: Link-Lines integration and switches integration. This method can deal with the dynamic topology changes of power network quickly using only local updating. Thus, the topology analysis speed can be improved efficiently, and this is good for the real time simulation of power network which is frequently changing because of the on-off switching operation. The test results applying this algorithm to a real Chinese power grid show the efficiency of this method.
