Abstract :
A GaAs transceiver circuit that includes all transmit and receive switching, amplification, frequency conversion and level shifting is described. An on-chip oscillator is also provided. Low receive current of 30 mA from a +5-V supply and a standby current of less than 0.5 mA make this an ideal component for battery-powered operation.<>
