Abstract :
The new toilet system which applied to the train was designed. The toilet system can separate the excrement and urine in the source, and deal with them individually. The problem that the direct discharge of excrement and urine polluted the surrounding environment was solved by this way. The flushing system was driven by the negative pressure which generated by the air around the high-speed train. A certain amount of reclaimed water and rinsing was stored separately in the flushing system. The reclaimed water was the first choice when flushing the toilet. The combination of wind and reclaimed water can save water and achieve the purpose of the environmental protection and energy saving. The structure of the toilet system was optimized according to the numerical simulation result of the flow field on air intakes and flushing system. The operation system can be controlled by PLC in the research.
