  • Abstract
    The fuel element cycling system in pebble bed reactor was characterized by the large-scale, complex process control, etc., the distributed control system (DCS) was used as the core platform of the instrumentation and control (I&C) system in the full-scale experimental facility. The functional requirements of the control system of the full-scale experimental facility of the fuel element cycling system were analyzed, meanwhile, the hardware structure and control procedure of the control system were established. The experiment result was consistent with the analysis of closed-loop control after the experiment of lifting velocity control of fuel elements is carried out. The studies on the I&C system and control experiment of key loop provide the references to the design of corresponding system in HTR-PM.
