Abstract :
A method is proposed for the phase angle calculation of PD pulse in the PD detection under TRPD mode. The method takes PD pulse itself as the trigger to start the acquisition of PD signal and power frequency signal simultaneously. Then the initial phase angle of power frequency signal is taken as the phase angle of the PD pulse trigger, which is calculated based on Fourier series algorithm. To improve the accuracy, the real-time frequency of power frequency signal is calculated using fuzzy clustering method. The effectiveness of the proposed method and the accuracy of the calculated phase angle are verified by simulation and application in PD detection.
