Abstract :
The mutual coupling between two cavities in the combline filter structures is calculated by the FDTD method in combination with the discrete FFT. A conventional Yee´s scheme is implemented and a staircase approximation of the cylindrical resonator is used. Very close agreement between measured and simulated results is demonstrated
