Comprehensive Research of Applying TCSC to Improve the Property of Distribution Network

Abstract :
Employing voltage fluctuation target put forward based on the feasibility of tidal solution to estimate "strong property" or "weak property" of each node of radial pattern distribution network in studying, through comprehensive analysis of researching system, when using TCSC to improve the voltage quality of the end of line, the voltage fluctuation index of weak node is also at ideal scope, at the same time, considering from the engineering practice angle of decreasing the cost of TCSC and through general analysis, finally, it is determined that the fixed series compensation and controllable series compensation constitute TCSC together. Simulation results show that the compensation and the improving results are more ideal. The analysis can make some guidance to the design and improvement of distribution network.
