Abstract :
The performance of a simple algorithm for the detection of local activation times on cardiac electrograms was evaluated. Unipolar epicardial and endocardial electrograms were recorded in 21 patients undergoing arrhythmia surgery. Local activation times were manually edited and used as standard references. The quasioptimal performance showed a sensitivity and a positive prediction accuracy of 89%.<>
