Abstract :
First, the basic structure and principle of HVDC power transmission system is introduced briefly. Then, power system (PSB) of MATLAB simulation model for the typical 6 pulse bridge HVDC power transmission system is built. MATLAB/ Simulink to simulate the transient processes of this system when the short circuit faults to ground occur on DC line is also used. It is proved by simulation result that the model and the simulating method is validity, visual and saving time.
