Abstract :
Synthetic natural environment (SNE) data is different from the general entity data. SNE data are data-field changing with time and space. The hierarchical synthetic environment database system was designed according to the SNE data characteristics and the simulation application needs. The SNE database system included primary environment database, standard environment database compatible with synthetic environment data presentation interchange specification (SEDRIS) and run-time environment database. Primary environment database was composed of all kinds of primitive data. The standard database compatible with SEDRIS was completed combined relational model with object model. The run-time database was developed using memory database technology. Finally, a simulation instance was used to validate the synthetic environment database performance. The results show that synthetic environment database can support the diverse application needs, and can meet real-time simulation requirement.
