Abstract :
With the development of telecommunications, the telecom network becomes a complex heterogeneous environment. The telecommunication network management system is required to be developed as the Web-based and distributed network management system to achieve better performance and scalability. This paper presents an infrastructure to build heterogeneous telecommunication network management system based on J2EE architecture. Through the use of Web-based and distributed server architecture based on EJB, and telecommunication network management system interoperates with existing operations support systems (OSS) and network management system (NMS) through the protocols of SNMP, TL1, RMI, HTTP, and JMX, SNMP, TL1, CLI, XML, and CORBA. The Web clients are constructed by using Ajax, Struts, and Tile, JSP´s, JSTL and Servlet technologies. Experiments show that the infrastructure can be used to build heterogeneous telecommunication network management system to manage to manage large-scale network system. It could have an important application prospect in the complex and heterogeneous telecommunications network management.
