Abstract :
This research studies the feasibility for noninvasive localization of the epileptic foci originating from mesial temporal area. The consistency of foci localization using dipole modelling for varied montages, including standard 10-20, enhanced temporal electrodes, and combination of invasive sphenoid electrode, were investigated. In addition, a 3-D digitizer was utilized to measure the exact positions of electrodes for accurate head geometrical model and better estimation consistency
