Abstract
We have devised with the help of IBM Consulting Group a fully operational and practical operations management system based on ranges (i.e, one day sections of our production line). This system called continuous flow manufacturing (CFM) allows to manage the bottlenecks of a line implement a continuous improvement strategy aimed towards bottlenecks elimination. To that extent it is a clever implementation of Kanban principles and Theory of Constraints
