Abstract :
The simulation system is also important for training students and crew. In order to overcome the disadvantage of the centralized simulation system, the distributed structure is adopted in this system. The simulation of diesel power units, shaft generators and exhaust-gas turbine power units are operated detachedly on the local computer (bottom machine) while the management of electric power is conducted from the supervisors (upper machine). The network communication realizes information exchange of simulation system by CAN bus. But sometimes the network communication by CAN bus happens to fail occasionally. Though analyzing the failure causes are found out, then the ordinary CAN bus technology is improved and the communication interfaces of the hardware and software for CAN bus are designed more reasonably, which lets distributed simulation system for joint operation of multiple power-generating approaches in marine power station run better and enhances the real-time capability and reliability of the simulation equipment, so that the performance of the system was improved.
