Abstract
This paper describes ongoing work at the University of Sheffield concerning active Electromagnetic Band Gap (EBG) technology. The focus of the work presently is on developing systems, which can tune multiple "in-phase" frequency bands independently of each other. Results here show how a dual layer EBG has been designed, manufactured and tested, covering the frequency bands of 700-1200 MHz and 1700-2600 MHz.
